Senior Director of Development
​
This key role will report directly to the Chief Development Officer and will serve as an integral member of the Development team. As the Senior Director of Development at neverthirst, our expectations are that you embody the core values of neverthirst as the initial/primary contact of the organization for most new and potential Major Donors, and that you carry out your responsibilities with an attitude that is becoming of Christ our LORD.

Role Description (Major Gifts)
The Senior Director of Development at neverthirst functionally operates as a Major Gift Officer for the organization. This role will initiate relationships and follow up with existing and potential financial partners. The primary goal of this position is to pursue and grow major gifts out of neverthirst’s existing data base but is not limited to utilizing the existing data base to initiate and grow potential major donors and strategic corporate partnerships.
This person must love following up with donors who already have given to the organization in ‘some’ amount, but that the CDO has targeted to follow up with. This person will be making phone calls, sending emails, texts and setting up meetings (in person and via zoom) to develop real relationships with donors and to invite them into a clear vision and opportunity to impact the most unreached places on earth with the express goal of increasing their generosity to the organization.

A high capacity for managing a high volume of relationships across a broad geography…this person must be a “people person” and have the ability to be winsome and operate with a high level of emotional intelligence.
